| San Diego API Community Network will Present Preliminary Findings |

San Diego, Ca--- The San Diego Asian/Pacific Islander (API) Community Network will be hosting a community forum on “Addressing API Health Disparities: Preliminary Findings” on May 29th, 9:30 am to 2:30 pm at Springfield College located at 5348 University Avenue, Suite 110, San Diego, CA 92105. The forum will highlight on preliminary research findings conducted by three partner agencies: Institute for Public Health- San Diego State University, ACCESS and Operation Samahan. The findings will focus on health care issues and legal barriers facing the API Community in San Diego. It will also feature the network’s interactive website where valuable API resources will be made available to the public. The overall intent of the forum is to create an opportunity to bring to the table the API community’s overall needs and concerns; identify and address their health care gaps; and provide appropriate and effective programmatic interventions through the relationships built from within the network. In addition, the forum will also host an Art Gallery showcasing the API community in general and the API-Community Health Network in particular.
