New Community Health Center opening at Granger Junior High School |

A ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for the grand opening of our new Community Health Center at Granger Junior High School. Mayor Ron Morrison, the Sweetwater Union High School District Borard of Trustees and other community leaders will be in attendance. The event is scheduled for this Friday, April 9th from 1:00 to 2:30, at 2101 Granger Avenue, National City.

Congressman Filner Announces Funding for Community Health Center Development |

Congressman Bob Filner is pleased to announce that $80,000 has been awarded to Operation Samahan in National City under the Health Center Program of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The funding will be used to conduct research and strengthen health services provided to underserved communities, particularly low-income Asians and Pacific Islanders.
